Are the fastening screws for the hf horn accessable if I lift off the felt ring? I'm wanna try some UREI horns instead.

On mine they are small crown nuts and can be accessed by cutting the felt away from the horn. They are still quite difficult to get at but it can be done. A short handled nut driver is required if you want to salvage the felt because of the overhang of the horn above the nuts. You'll see.

Off topic, I notice your avatar has a pair of Onken "W" bass bins. I was doing some research and finally found out why they weigh so much. They're concrete filled double wall construction. I'm not sure why people find these so desirable as they seem to be normal 18.5 cu Ft reflex boxes. Apparently about 400Lbs each.

The ones in the picture are yours? Are they 38's or 43's? Did you make these yourself? How is the bass? I have four 416's looking for a home and the W could be a nice stand for a pair of 511's.
Did you get the horns off of the 604's?

Excellent looking system! I'm sure it sounds amazing. Did it take long to integrate all of the drivers? I have a different perspective on the size when I look at the individual components.

They are 416-16Z's. The cabinets were built my a local carpenter according to plans I provided him with.

Look here for details of my system. The black horns in the middle have just been replaced by Sierra Brooks 350HZ Tratrix hoens with Vitavox S2 drivers.

It is still "Work-in-progress" but the task was certainly made easier by the digital crossover.
